Cookie Dough Brownies

Always a bake sale hit. Chewy, chocolatety, cookie doughy. A hit anywhere.

Cookie Dough Brownies

Brownie Ingredients:

1 pkg fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Filling ingredients: (I doubled the quantities to make a thicker filling)

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbs milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour

Glaze ingredients: (I also doubled this because I prefer a thicker chocolate top)

1 cup chocolate chips
1 Tbs shortening

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350℉. Grease a 13×9 pan.

2. Prepare brownies according to directions and stir in chocolate chips. Spread in pan and bake for 35 minutes. Cool completely.

3. In large bowl beat butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add milk and vanilla. Add flour and mix well. Spread over cooled brownies.

4. Melt chocolate chips with shortening and spoon over filling.

Cut into bars. Makes about 36.
