Coffee Ice Cube Cocktail

Seen recently through my lens.

After my daughter returned to college after break, all the kitties sat on her bed and wondered where she was.

We went on some college tours in Boston over winter break. Thankfully it only rained one day, but it was a hella rainstorm.

Freezing coffee to make ice cubes is such a brilliant idea. No more diluted iced coffees or coffee cocktails.

I’ve seen a bunch of cocktails around the internet that use coffee ice cubes. This riff on a Baileys White Russian is ace. The coffee flavor becomes more pronounced as the cubes melt. Delicious.

‘Mirror’, new from Glasgow-based quintet AmatrArt, is the stuff happy hour is made of. Brooding, loud and mesmerizing, it goes perfectly with a drink.

“Step out off the edge”

Check out AmartrArt on Soundcloud. They will release the double a-side single ‘Mirror/Soft Skin’ in April via Bloc+ Music.

Cheers!
