One Pot Baked Ziti. Serving Up The Grand Gestures.

Every now and then a recipe knocks my socks off.

THIS ZITI.

And now I am barefoot.

I adore baked ziti. The version here is incredibly easy and like the title says…One Pot! You don’t even have to boil the pasta. It cooks right in the sauce. Ricotta, sausage and heavy cream add richness and the cloak of melted mozzarella is the crowning touch to this royally good dish.

This song is worth loving just for the title alone. Brooding, insistent and extremely good.

Cheers!

  4. mare says:

What do you mean by broil in the last step? Take it off yhd stove top and put in the oven set on broil?

Thanks for the prompt reply. Cant wait to try it out! One other question, should I use a special.pot since I need to place it in the oven? I have regular stainless steel pots.

    • The pot I used is a 5 quart Calphalon which is stove top and oven safe. My All Clad stainless pans are oven safe as well. You might want to check with the manufacturer of your pan to double check. It would be horrible to melt a good pot!
