I saw this yesterday:
“Doctor! Doctor! I think I’m addicted to Twitter.”
“Sorry, I don’t follow you.”
Social Networking humor. Love it.
I also love this Grilled Sausage dinner. Parsnips and brussels sprouts put a fresh spin on colcannon.
Sausages With Veg Mash
Ingredients:
4 sausages
2 parsnips
2 large potatoes
175g brussels sprouts
4 Tbs milk
1 Tbs wholegrain mustard
Directions:
1. Grill the sausages for 10-12 minutes, turning frequently.
2. Meanwhile, peel and roughly chop the parsnips and potatoes, then cook in boiling salted water for about 10 minutes. Shred sprouts, add to the pan for the last 2-3 minutes and cook until all the vegetables are tender.
3. Drain and mash the vegetables, then beat in the milk and mustard with salt and pepper. Serve with the sausages and some sharp mustard on the side.
Serves 2 (definitely triple the recipe)

Did you ever love a song from the first listen?
Man, it’s so cool when that happens.
I was going through a bunch of new stuff (to me) yesterday when this came on.
That piano, that voice.
Fantastic.
Vigri-Animals
This video for ‘Sleep’ was filmed the summer of 2010 in the volcanic ash following the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull.
Another gorgeous song. A pretty haunting video.
Check out Iceland’s Vigri on the band’s Website and Facebook. You can buy the music here.
Cheers!
