Here’s a little recipe gift for you: A fabulous slant on Fettuccine Alfredo.

A little bit of picante sauce and sour cream give the dish a Tex-Mex flair. Another quick and easy dinner for a busy night that everyone will love. Please re-gift. :)

Tex-Mex Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients:

1 pound fettuccine
6 tablespoons butter
2/3 cup picante sauce or salsa
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup sour cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions:

1. In a large pot of boiling water, cook noodles until al dente. Drain and keep warm.

2. Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine butter, picante sauce, and Parmesan cheese; cook over low heat, stirring, until butter melts. Remove from heat; stir in sour cream and salt.

3. Pour picante sauce mixture over fettuccine and toss. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
