I’d like to raise my glass to all of you and thank you for making it so much fun to blather on about food and music every day. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy this happy little place in my life where all I have to worry about is what to cook and whose music I should listen to while clamoring around in the kitchen.
To celebrate, I thought a festive umbrella topped tropical punch would be just the thing. Pineapple Rum Punch takes no time at all to mix up and can be made a few hours ahead of time and left to chill in the fridge.
Cheers and many thanks to all of my old and new friends! I really appreciate you stopping by. x

If you hang around here long enough you are going to hear Scottish bands, see some cats, get some beard worship, listen to piano and hopefully laugh at something or other that is completely ridiculous.
This video for The Leg’s ‘Chicken Slippers’ gives it all to you in one glorious dose.
Check out The Leg on the band’s Website, where you can link to buy their music.
Cheers!
Congrats on the 1000th post, Tricia! I’m always so impressed by your blog! <3
Thank you James! xxoo
Wow 1000! Congrats. You are one amazing lady (but then I’ve always known that). This lovely looking cocktail makes me think of where I was last week at this time (Bermuda – where they love their rum!)
Ah, Bermuda!! Your favorite! I hope you took a bunch of lovely photos (as usual!)
Congrats!! and thanks for making our lives that much easier whenever we wonder what is for dinner!
Thank you Laurie! You have always been one of my biggest supporters and it makes me so happy that you are! xo
Congratulations Tricia! Sorry we didn’t have a chance to say hello after yoga. I made J sit in the lobby and wait for me :) so I had to skip out early. Thanks for all of your wonderful posts! They often help make life easier for me as well!
Thank you Carole!! I love your insightful comments on the recipes. It is always so helpful to me to learn of your changes/additions. xx
