Concert tonight!
I am going to see Aunt Martha and Carbon Leaf, two towns over, right here in Vermont.
The truth is I’m seeing Carbon Leaf because I am going to see Aunt Martha.
But, actually I am not seeing Aunt Martha. Instead lead singer Tim Noyes is playing solo.
I CANNOT WAIT!
You might remember me writing about Aunt Martha here or here.
Well, tonight is going to be a first for me.
You know how I usually make a recipe for my favorite singers and bands? Totally a virtual thing.
However, today I made recipes to bring to Tim. For real!
I asked Tim what kind of food he likes and he replied that he liked literally everything.
I figured something portable would definitely be in order. And easy to eat in case he has to drive home to New Hampshire tonight.
And, of course, something really delicious.
So I made a variety of desserts in jars and attached inexpensive spoons with elastic wire. I think they are totally adorable. (I’ll post the Zebra dessert tomorrow)

The cd in the photos is the ‘Bloodshot’ ep. It is amazing. I got it months ago and I still listen to it daily.
‘Bloodshot’ is also the only one of Aunt Martha’s albums that I own that is not in digital form. Makes it much easier to photograph.
Aunt Martha’s latest album ‘Norway, ME’ is a haunting, elegant assembly of music. This song hits me with such force. The lyrics are so real, so devastating.
Aunt Martha-Yellow Dress #2
Check out Aunt Martha on Facebook and the band’s Website where you can buy their music.
If you live here in Vermont or NH, the show is at Tupelo Music Hall in White River Junction at 8 pm. Tickets still available.
Cheers!
