Kiddie Cakes

July through November is birthday central in my house. All those birthdays need cake, of course.

A few friends expressed interest in children’s birthday cakes. So, I thought I would share some photos of cakes I have made. If any of these ideas interest you, leave a comment and I can post the directions.

The cake up top is a cute Ginger Kitty Cat. My daughter ADORES cats.

This Kitty Litter Cake was also for my daughter. I cannot tell you how much I gagged putting it together.

Another cat. This was for Halloween.

ARRRRRRR! Ahoy Matey!

A special cake for a special birthday.

Dinosaur Time.

Meringues, Animal Crackers and Mini Oreos are easy and fun decorations.

Take Me To Your Leader.

Goo Goo G’joob.

This Mermaid was the only cake that I was ever “commissioned” to make for someone else after they saw the one I made for my daughter. Still one of my favorites, ever.

Christmas comes after Birthday Season.

I also try and make a Back To School Cake to mark the new academic year.

More Back To School.

Here’s a cake you can make for Father’s Day.

And a Red Velvet Valentine’s Day Cake.

This is a Barefoot Contessa Cake.

This cake was for a First Holy Communion.

Perhaps some songs from the Marie Antoinette Soundtrack are in order.
Bow Wow Wow-Aphrodisiac

The Strokes-What Ever Happened

You can buy this awesome soundtrack here.

Cheers!
