Sorry you selfie stick friends, but this is hilarious to me.
When you want the special honey wild taste of baklava but aren’t in the mood for a romp with phyllo sheets, these little tartlets are just the thing. Purchased mini phyllo shells get filled with a nutty, buttery, sweet mixture and are ready in less than 10 minutes. Yum.
3/4 cup honey
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
2 cups finely chopped walnuts
3 packages (1.9 ounces each) frozen miniature phyllo tart shells
1. In a small bowl, mix the first five ingredients until blended then stir in walnuts.
2. Spoon 2 teaspoons mixture into each tart shell. Refrigerate until serving.
Makes 45 tartlets

“I’ve been waiting down here patiently.
For my love to come and rescue me,
I just don’t know how I got this way.
