I’m sure any kitty cat would come running at the sound of sizzling shrimp.
Shrimp Tacos With Spicy Cabbage Slaw is an interesting combination that everyone here loved. Hot shrimp wrapped up with the cool, creamy, slightly spicy slaw is good to the last bite.
Shrimp Tacos With Spicy Cabbage Slaw
Ingredients:
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 1/2 Tbs fresh lime juice
1 tsp minced chipotle chiles in adobo
5 oz (about 2-1/2 cups) packaged classic coleslaw mix
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
4 (6- to 7-inch) corn tortillas
2 Tbs vegetable oil
10 oz deveined, peeled medium shrimp
Kosher salt
Lime wedges, for serving
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, mix the mayonnaise, 1/2 Tbs of the lime juice, and the chipotles in adobo. Stir in the coleslaw mix and cilantro.
2. Heat a heavy 12-inch skillet over medium heat. One at a time, heat the tortillas, flipping once, until softened, about 30 seconds per side. Wrap in a dishtowel to keep warm.
3. Heat the oil in the skillet over medium heat until shimmering hot. Add the shrimp, season with salt, and cook, stirring, until just opaque throughout, about 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and drizzle with the remaining 1 Tbs lime juice.
4. Wrap the shrimp and slaw in the warm tortillas. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Patiently waiting for me to put away the camera.
This is flat out noisy, messy fun. First intrigued by the title, which translates to “Off we go” (Yuri Gagarin’s first words as his Vostok capsule took off in the first manned orbit of the earth), now I’m totally intrigued by the sound.
Check out Fever Dream on the band’s Website, where you can link to buy their music.
