Speaking of surprises, I totally did not see this one coming.
Note to self: No hats on cats.
These Fudge Brownie Surprise Cupcakes are a really sweet deal. Not only are they a cinch to make, but they look fantastic and taste even better. Yum. That candy filling makes the cupcakes so good.
Fudge Brownie Surprise Cupcakes
Ingredients:
1 (18.3 ounce) package fudge brownie mix
15 miniature-size chocolate-coated caramel-topped nougat bars with peanuts (Snickers)—If using “fun” size, cut in half.
Canned vanilla icing
Small multicolored decorative candies (optional)
Maraschino cherries (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350℉. Line fifteen 2-1/2-inch muffin cups with paper bake cups. (I had enough batter for 17 cupcakes)
2. Prepare the fudge brownie mix according to package directions. Spoon 1 tablespoon of the batter into each paper bake cup. Place a miniature-size candy bar in each cup. Divide the remaining batter among the cups.
3. Bake for 22 minutes. Let cool in pans on a wire rack. (Cupcakes may dip slightly in center).
4. Frost with vanilla icing and, if desired, top with a maraschino cherry or sprinkle with decorative candies.
Makes 15-17 cupcakes

Time for a short song.
And a sweet song.
“You’re making me crazy
Really driving me mad
That’s all right with me
It’s really no fuss
As long as you’re next to me
Just the two of us”
