You all know how much I love eyes on my desserts. Well, these Donut Eyeballs have to take the cake.
Ouch!
Bloody Jelly Donut Eyeballs
Ingredients:
Powdered donut holes
M&M’s and/or colored candy eyes
Black edible marker if you are using M&M’s
Raspberry seedless jelly
Forks
Directions:
1. Use a black edible marker to add pupils to your M&M’s. Or just use Candy Eyes.
2. Stab your Donut Eyeballs with a fork. If desired, fill the center of your donut holes with jelly. (I couldn’t find donut holes, so I used these ‘Donettes’. I filled the center of the donut with a dab of jelly to adhere the candy eye.)
3. Spoon some jelly into the corner of a plastic sandwich bag. Snip a very tiny hole off of the corner of the bag. Alternatively, use a piping bag with a small round tip. Pipe bloody veins on your eyeball, moving from the center, outward.
4. Squeeze some jelly on the fork and around the base of the donut.
Recipe from Dollhouse Bake Shoppe Blog. Go check out Linday Ann’s photos. They’re bloody good.
Remember The Cardigans? They had some bloody tunes.
The Cardigans-Sabbath Bloody Sabbath
Don’t forget this excruciating bloody song.
The Cardigans-Cocktail Party Bloody Cocktail Party
Who is in a coma?
Just to wake you up after that last tune, how about some Blood?
How about Blood Backwards? You can uncover your eyes for this one and cover your ears instead.
Read up on The Cardigans and buy the band’s music on their Website.
My Chemical Romance is over here.
Eye thank you all for stopping by.
Cheers!
That may be the best picture ever taken.
Haha! I love it, too.
Eye think we’ll have to try this one! (Sorry to reuse your pun, but for some reason, all I can come up with at the moment is eggstrordionary, which doesn’t really fit the bill.)
I yoke eggstrordinary! I mean like.
You’ll have to get the boys to pose for a shot and let me see.
Ewwww! But awesome.
Another blood song is ‘Blood’ by The Middle East. It’s not gory though, so doesn’t quite fit with your bloody eyeballs! Have you heard it? I never ever ever tire of it. A favourite.
ooh, Agnes! I love that song. It didn’t even cross my mind because it is so unbloody. We really have such similar tastes in music.
