Tomato, Mozzarella And Olive Tasting Spoons

You might remember from this post, awhile back, when I bought tasting spoons because I thought they were so cute and I fell in love with them.

Well, this is only the second time I’ve used the spoons. I have lots of ideas for them, but I just have not gotten around to putting them to action.

Here is one idea for a quick starter to serve at a big or small gathering. Depends on how many spoons you have. :)

I served these Tomato, Mozzarella And Olive Tasting Spoons at a large party. I just kept refilling the spoons as necessary. People loved them.

Ingredients:

Grape tomatoes
Mini mozzarella balls
Olives
Basil, shredded
Extra virgin olive oil

Directions:

1. Arrange tomatoes, mozzarella and olives on tasting spoons. Drizzle with olive oil and top with basil.

Off today to Philadelphia to visit with Dr. Dog.

Dogs are not high on my love list, especially since I was just bitten by one while running a few weeks ago.

But Dr. Dog is another story. I love this band.

Psychedelic and comforting. Perfect for making me smile.

I can never sit still when Worst Trip comes on. Those first notes make me bust a move like John Travolta.

I love that little swirl of music about 2 1/2 minutes into the song. I start to hum “And your bird can sing”.

Go on, Say Something. Say Anything (That’s got an unrelated post all to itself).

Check out Dr. Dog on the band’s Website. Buy their music there, too.

Cheers!

  1. These pictures are mesmerizing! If these were sitting in front of me I’d want to eat them all!
