Cheeseburger Quiche

This video has absolutely nothing to do with Cheeseburger Quiche, or anything at all for that matter.

It’s just freakin’ hilarious.

My daughter sent the video link to me in an email titled BUY THIS!!!!

I don’t know…the fact that it is definitely not a dance coach is a bit of a drawback.

This Cheeseburger Quiche is not hilarious. It is really good though. And it is a dance coach.

I always double the ingredients and make two. Everyone always wants seconds.

Cheeseburger Quiche

Ingredients:

1 refrigerated pie crust (I like Pillsbury ready roll)
1 lb ground beef
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup dill pickle relish
1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
5 eggs
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp mustard
1 tsp tabasco
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan

Garnishes:
Mayonnaise, pickles, ketchup

Directions:

1. Unroll pie crust and place in a 9 inch pie plate. Flute edges and set aside.

2. In skillet, cook beef until browned. Drain. Stir in tomatoes, onion, relish and bacon. Transfer to pie crust.

3. Whisk together the eggs, cream, milk, mustard, hot sauce and salt and pepper. Pour over beef mixture and sprinkle with cheeses.

4. Bake at 375℉ for about one hour until center is set. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting. Garnish as desired.

We’re heading back to Scotland today. Edinburgh band Aaron Wright & The Aprils won me over with this song.
Aaron Wright & The Aprils-Go On Yer Self

Look!! The band is singing in the kitchen! Well, you know, sort of.

Check out Aaron Wright on his website. You can buy Aaron Wright & The Aprils’ music here.

Aaron Wright also has a new solo album out. You can check out a few tracks on his Facebook page.

Cheers!
