Coffee Cocktail

I may have to pass on my usual morning pot of tea and make one of these coffee cocktails. It might help, just a bit, to calm some of this pre-party anxiety.

Mmmm….Kahlúa. I highly recommend that you try a coffee cocktail. Have one this morning with me.

Coffee Cocktail

Ingredients:

50ml coffee, cooled
1 Tbs Kahlúa
2 Tbs heavy cream
Cocoa powder, for dusting

Directions:

1. Mix the coffee and Kahlúa in a martini glass.

2. Slowly pour the cream over the back of a teaspoon so that it gently settles on top of the coffee.

3. Dust with a little cocoa and serve.

Have you heard of Motel Motel? Easy on the ears and even easier on the eyes. Not that I check out that sort of thing. Well, maybe I check out Win Butler. And Nick Urata is pretty hot. Jonathan Meiburg…definitely. Mmmm…Yan aka Scott Wilkinson. John Wesley Harding is pretty cute. So is Charlie Ward. And all of The Decemberists. Most definitely. Alright, maybe a little checking out goes on.

Enough of that. Here’s some coffee.

Everything by The Divine Comedy is ace as far as I’m concerned. A Drinking Song is no exception.

Sounds good, but really just like diluted kahlua with some whipped cream on top. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course! :)
