Mmmm…..Pie. Need I say more?
Since these are so simple to do, I doubled the ingredients and made two pies. The more the merrier.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie Oh My
Ingredients:
1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell (If using frozen pie shell, thaw completely)
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
1. Preheat oven 325℉.
2. Beat eggs in large mixer bowl on high until foamy. Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in morsels and nuts and spoon into pie shell.
3. Bake on a baking sheet for 55-60 minutes. If using frozen pie shell increase baking time slightly. Cool on wire rack.
I drizzled melted milk chocolate and white chocolate over the baked pies to dress them up a bit.
Nestlé recommends serving the pie warm with vanilla ice cream. I thought it was better cold this morning (for breakfast).
Since it is Friday I will now crank up the stereo and get dancing.
