Q: Why did the lion lose at poker?
A: Because he was playing with a cheetah.
It’s been a long time since I pulled out my candy eyes. Too long! They make everything cuter. Like these adorable Lion Cupcakes.
Use your favorite cupcakes and icing, add some simple decorations, and ROAR! Loveable lions in the kitchen (or den).
Ingredients:
Cupcakes
Icing tinted orange
Black decorating icing
Caramel popcorn
Candy eyes
Thin pretzel sticks, broken in half
Yellow gummy rounds
Directions:
1. Frost the cupcakes with the orange icing.
2. Create mane using the caramel corn.
3. Add candy eyes and a gummy for the snout. Use a toothpick dipped in black icing to draw on the tip of nose and the mouth. (Or pipe on using a small round tip.)
4. Insert pretzels for whiskers.
Here’s a short song that is kind of sad.
And a sweet song that is also heavy with sadness. Obviously the title is not a happy one.
“I never want to grow up.
Holding our hands tightly singing.
I’m all alone and soon fully grown.
I’m all alone inside our home.
It’s what this holds the future told.
I’m not strong but I’m not weak,
but I still don’t know what to think
with every ‘x’ on the calendar I wonder if I’ll see her.
Our life is a book neatly on the shelf
in memories and good health.
With pictures and photos
I know we will live forever.”

Cheers!
