Time flies like an arrow, but fruit flies like a banana.
In no time at all you can throw together these sweet little Banana Bread Cookies.
The moist banana binds the oats and walnuts. Baked together you get little bites, both soft and crisp, with the undeniable flavor of banana bread.
Ingredients:
2 overipe bananas
1 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
1. Mash bananas in a bowl. Add oats and walnuts.
2. Drop rounded tablespoons of batter onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350°F.
Makes 12 cookies. (Best eaten within a day, but that is not hard to do.)
