It is always fun for me to look back on the year and see which recipes on ISITK were the most popular.
I’m in complete agreement that the most viewed recipes from 2013 are some of the most delicious out there. It’s also the first time that savory recipes made the Top 5 list.
I owe a big thank you to Pinterest that totally addictive, time suck of a site and its fabulous pinners for referring so many people to my site.
If you haven’t tried any of these recipes, you should! Start with Crunchers, the top post from 2013, pictured in the photo above.
A number of readers commented that they did not get a good result from the Crunchers recipe, so I made it again and payed close attention to the steps to try and trouble shoot. You can see the Revised Crunchers post here.
Here’s how the revisited Crunchers looked.
Coming in at number 2 is this rendition of The Cheesecake Factory’s Oreo Cheesecake recipe.
It’s as stunning on the palate as it is to look at on the plate. A true Oreo and Cheesecake lover’s dream come true.
The savory recipes covet the number 3 slot. Rib-sticking, creamy Cheeseburger Soup with buttery, cheesy, garlicky, oniony rolls alongside. Comfort food to the max.

Number 4 is the short and sweet, 4 ingredient Lazy Cake Cookie Bars. (I love coincidences like that).
In 30 minutes (yes, just 30) you have a big batch of crunchy cookie bars packed with mini chocolate chips. So good.
And finally, rounding out the list at number 5, are these truly insane Oreo Peanut Butter Brownie Cupcakes.
Just slather peanut butter over Oreos and cover them with some brownie batter. That’s it! Crazy and utterly fabulous.
