Cookies And Cream Rice Krispie Treats. New EP From The Son(s) Out Tomorrow.

This prank is so mean which is why I like it so much.

You will want to high five everyone and anyone who makes these Rice Krispie Treats.

I never thought I was much of a fan for RKT, but put a few interesting things inside, like Oreos, and you have a winning snack.

I put the pan of these treats together in 5 minutes. Fast and fabulous.

Cookies And Cream Rice Krispie Treats

1/4 cup butter
16 ounce bag miniature marshmallows
7 cups Rice Krispie cereal
1 (8 ounce) bag of mini Oreos

1. In a large pan on medium heat melt the butter. Stir in the bag of marshmallows until they are almost melted. (I melted the butter with the marshmallows in a large bowl in the microwave).

2. Add the Rice Krispies and mini Oreos and mix well. Press the mixture into a buttered 9×13 pan. If you dampen your hands with water and press down on the mixture it won’t stick to your hands. That tip is key.

Cool and serve.

The Treats are great for Bake Sales.

The Son(s) have a new EP out tomorrow titled ‘Leviathan’.

“These songs were sung and recorded in an old cold, empty, echoey flat in Edinburgh. Away from home, stuck in the dark middle of winter.”

This song is just what I want to play on a quiet Sunday while I whip up sweet things in my warm, inviting kitchen. Gorgeous.

Check out The Son(s) on Soundcloud , where you can buy the music. Pick up the albums on Bandcamp, too.
