As I said on FB, “I told my wife about these and after i read her the line ‘Push 1 Reese’s in center of each “brownie cupcake”…’ she said, ‘Umm, yes.'”

And then also, I love that Jackson Browne song. It’s a fabulous song from a fabulous album. But for me, it’ll always be about “The Load Out/Stay” although I don’t know that that counts as a “sweet song”…

    • Jackson Brown(i)e. Ba Doom Cha!

I love a lot of his stuff. Of course, The Contrast Podcast has ruined Rosie for me. I used to go wild over Linda Paloma, The Fuse, The Pretender, The Road and Shaky Town. The Load Out/Stay firmly reminds me of high school. I’m thinking you weren’t even born then. :)

Will always love the 70’s JB the most, but he’s had some great songs his whole career. Yeah, Rosie is FOREVER ruined for me, and I can’t even believe I didn’t pick up on the real meaning in the past.
Where do you get teensy muffin liners?

  3. James! says:

    Sorry for ruining Rosie, ladies…

My cousin once made those with prepackaged cookie dough, they are so rich and decadent!! If I ate more than three my stomach started to hurt!

Ah, Jackson Browne, something we can “musically” agree on :) And, I’m not familiar with the referenced Podcast, so I don’t want to know about Rosie! The cupcakes are adorable.

    • Yes, definitely stay in the dark! I remember the time when JB and BJ would be on very constant rotation.

      • Muffy says:

Elton John is passing through here on April 23 – some of my earliest memories of you involve a tape of you singing “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” – awesome! (Gotta go out and get tickets to this gig).

  6. Muffy says:

OK, so this is what happens when I listen to music from one post and think about the food in another. In my last comment, I refer to cupcakes (that would be those wondereful Munions). Back to work now.
