BBQ Crunch Dogs. New Music From Major Leagues.

Poor penguin. Looks like that polar bear is enjoying his tunes, though!

The homemade barbecue sauce for these BBQ Crunch Dogs alone is worth the price of admission. It’s so easy to make and has amazing sweet-tangy flavor. Add in a beefy hot dog, cool romaine lettuce and some crunchy BBQ potato chips and you have a super delicious meal.

BBQ Crunch Dogs

Ingredients:

1 cup ketchup
½ cup cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
8 all-beef hot dogs
2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
8 hot dog buns
1 bag BBQ flavored potato chips

Directions:

1. To prepare the BBQ sauce, combine the ketchup, vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, and garlic powder in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring often.

2. Lightly grease the grates of an outdoor grill. Heat the grill to medium-high heat. Add the hot dogs and cook, turning and basting with the BBQ sauce frequently. Cook the hot dogs until they are heated through.

3. Place some of the romaine lettuce onto the bottom of each bun. Top with a cooked hot dog, additional BBQ sauce and some crushed BBQ chips.

“It Was Always You” is a fabulous throwback to the jangly Australian indie pop of the 80s. Lead-singer Anna Davidson’s sweet voice crushes it.
