Today’s cocktail is an exotic mix of gin, elderflower liqueur and lemon juice that comes together as a fun sipper. Interestingly, I got the recipe from a web piece titled “15 Awesome Mad Men Inspired Cocktails.” The article noted that the Bombay Sapphire East Lemongrass Collins is a cocktail that Megan Draper would drink since “She’s sweet and refreshing (particualrly in Don’s eyes) but she still maintains a fiesty bite.”

I hate Megan, but I really like this cocktail.

Bombay Sapphire East Lemongrass Collins

Ingredients:
2 parts Bombay Sapphire East Gin
3/4 parts lemon juice
1/2 part St. Germain liqueur
Slices of lemon and lemongrass
Club soda

Directions:

1. Muddle lemongrass with lemon juice.

2. Add gin, St. Germain and lemon slice.

3. Pour into a tall glass with cubed ice. Top with soda.

Makes 1 drink
