I thought it would be fun, once again, to look back and see what the most popular posts of the past year were.

Just like in 2011, people are stopping by mostly for the desserts.

Coming in at Number 1 was the Peanut Butter-Chocolate Ice Cream Torte in the photo above. It is probably one of the best desserts I have ever had. The recipe is here.

Second most popular post was last year’s number 1. Meet my minions.

They are adorable and with Despicable Me 2 coming out this summer, I am sure the cupcakes will remain popular.

Chocolate Chip Filled Raspberries were the third most popular post. Definitely short and sweet.

These Toffee Triple Chocolate Cupcakes With Salted Caramel Icing remain my favorite cupcake EVER. What an incredible mix of flavor and texture. Absolutely divine.

And last but not least, the fifth most popular post was for another cupcake. Guinness Chocolate Cupcakes With Whiskey Ganache And Bailey’s Cream Cheese Icing, to be precise.

My readers have very good taste, because these cupcakes are also favorites of mine. My original description, in this post, is that they are FABULOUS. Oh yes, they are.

Here is a song from Onions released early last year. The album ‘Pleasure Blast’ is another I have only just learned of from its prominence in 2012 Best Of lists.
