Ultimate Oreo Peanut Butter Cup Brownies. Stargroves On The Stereo And A CD Giveaway!

Ultimate Oreo Peanut Butter Cup Brownies

ZOMG!

These brownies!

I’ve made Insane Oreo Peanut Butter Brownie Cupcakes and a Mini Cupcake version. Then there were the PB Cup Filled Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies (made into sundaes!)

Today’s recipe is also outrageous, but gets the ‘Ultimate’ crown because it’s a mash-up of all of the other over the top ones I have made. Only 4 ingredients and Boom! A peanut butter, cookie and brownie lover’s dream.

Stargroves, who I first featured here, have released a new song titled ‘Hafnarfjörður’.

Back in 2012, NYC-based frontman Teddy Watson spent 3 months in Iceland to immerse himself in his music. He was there in the winter when there are only a few hours of sun each day and tons of snow. It turned out to be the perfect setting to write songs, some inspired by his Icelandic experience, without the distractions of the big city at home.

Hafnarfjörður is a town six miles south of Iceland’s capital city of Reykjavík. It’s also an arresting tune, with lovely lyrics and a super catchy swirling electro beat.

Now about that CD giveaway.

Stargroves sent me a mighty fine packet of goodies including a cool T-shirt, band photos, stickers and my favorite: 2 copies of the demo CD for the band’s self titled debut album. It’s a fantastic collection of songs, two of which (Westfjords and Within Me A Lunatic Sings) are on my 2014 Festive Fifty list.

I would love to share the love and offer up one of the CDs to my readers. All you need to do is leave a comment with a recipe you think I should try or a song you think I would like. Even better, pair the recipe with a song. I’ll assign each comment a number and place the numbered squares into a bag for an old fashioned drawing.

If you’d like a chance to win the CD just comment away. I’ll draw the winner in one week on November 24th.

Check out Stargroves on the band’s Website, where you can buy the music and get yourself a cool T-shirt, too.

Cheers!
