Looking for a quick and delicious breakfast? Try these easy danishes.
All you do is use convenient, flaky crescent roll dough, fill it with a lemon-laced cream cheese filling and top with your favorite jam. Only 15 minutes in the oven and that’s it. A great start to the day.
Easy Cream Cheese And Fruit Danish
Ingredients:
1 (8oz) tube crescent roll dough
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbs lemon juice
8 tsp jam or preserves
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350℉.
2. Separate crescent roll dough into 4 rectangular sections and seal the perforations.
3. Mix cream cheese, sugar, and lemon juice until smooth. Spread mixture over the top of each rectangle. Fold each rectangle in half and cut into two. Make an indentation in the center of each danish and spoon 1 tsp of jam on top.
4. Place danishes on parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
