This cracked me up.
I know the Gangnam thing has long since jumped the shark, but I still smile at it. Especially my kids doing the dance moves…the whole house shakes.
I’ve made Buffalo Style Chicken Dips before like this one and this one.
Then I saw a photo of this Buffalo Chicken Dip, also called Crack Dip, all over the food boards on Pinterest.
I knew I would have to try it. I mean Crack Dip? That really sounds worth making.
That said, once I started looking around for Crack Dip recipes I saw Cheddar Bacon Dip, Loaded Baked Potato Dip, Spicy Sausage and Cream Cheese Dip, Spinach and Artichoke Dip, and Hot Cream Cheese Dip all also referred to as Crack Dip.
All of the recipes for this version of Buffalo Chicken Dip had words like Dangerous, Addictive, Crowd Pleasing, and Amazing to describe the dip.
Count me in.
Yes, Addictive for sure.
The dip is like eating Buffalo Chicken Wings without the bones. I loved how the ranch dressing and the mozzarella cut some of the sharpness of the blue cheese.
Ingredients:
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup ranch salad dressing
1/4 cup blue cheese salad dressing
1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cooked and shredded or diced
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350℉.
2. In a deep baking dish, mix cream cheese, salad dressing, buffalo sauce, and cheeses until combined. Stir in chicken.
3. Bake uncovered for 20-25 minutes, until the dish is heated through. Serve with crackers, pita chips, sliced baguette or celery sticks.
