Short And Sweet. Dulce De Leche Candy Bar Terrine.

Yesterday I acknowledged my love of all things ridiculous.

Well, this video is really ridiculous and totally hilarious.

Also, it ties into my post since Rose is in the movie and my short and sweet songs are themed with Risen and one of the songs has a Rose in it, too.

Follow me?

Now watch this.

The iceberg splatter kills me.

Dessert Time.

Two ingredients.

Definitely short and sweet.

Change out the Snickers with your favorite candy bar. Everything goes with Dulce De Leche.

Dulce De Leche Candy Bar Terrine

Ingredients:

14 Snickers Fun Size Bars, cut into thirds (about 1 1/2 cups total)
2 pints dulce de leche ice cream, softened

Directions:

1. Line an 8-by-4½-inch loaf pan with parchment. Arrange the Snickers bars on the bottom of the pan.

2. Top the Snickers bars with the ice cream and press in gently.

3. Freeze until firm, about 6 hours. Invert onto a plate and slice.

Today’s short and sweet songs are in honor of he who has risen.

Short.
The Decemberists-As I Rise

This next song is sweet in a way that only Eyeless In Gaza can be.

I love New Risen. Love the lyrics.

“Your name is Rose, a glow,
fair and endearing.
I dream you here,
over far and near, drawing on your quiet warmth.
When I’m haunted,
by these sorrows
that scratch and inflame me.
When I am this way,
your face becomes clearer.
In my minds eye, I can almost
taste your presence near me.
Ooh, it seems so real,
I dream you here.
When I’m haunted.”
