Grilled Irish Banger Naan Pizza. Cool Music From Diablo Swing Orchestra.

As Pizza related videos go, this one is hilarious.

Here’s a different take on pizza.

Indian naan bread topped with Irish bangers. Very different. And really wonderful with the eclectic combination of red onion, mint, arugula, mozzarella and crème fraîche.

Irish Banger Naan Pizza

Ingredients:

1 lb Irish Bangers (or you could use any type of sausage you like)
Pinch of dried chilli flakes
6 garlic naan breads
A few spoonfuls of crème fraîche
½ red onion, thinly sliced
Fresh mint leaves
2 cups mozzarella cheese
A handful arugula (rocket) leaves
Drizzle of olive oil

Directions:

1. Preheat the grill to medium.

2. Put a frying pan over a medium heat and add the bangers with a pinch of dried chilli flakes. Cook the sausages until well browned and tender. Slice into rounds.

2. Place the naan breads on a baking sheet and top with the sliced bangers and the crème fraîche. Scatter over the red onion and some fresh mint leaves, roughly chopped. Top with some mozzarella.

3. Grill for 3-4 minutes.

4. Remove from the grill and top each naan with a handful of arugula leaves and a drizzle of olive oil before serving.

Here’s a song that’s as unusual as the pizza. But, likewise, it works in a big way. Big Band Operatic Metal.
Diablo Swing Orchestra-Balrog Boogie

This video is from the band’s current tour for their new album, which was released last month. They look pretty cool, huh?

Check out Diablo Swing Orchestra on their Website. You can buy the music here.

Cheers!
