I’m giving you The Finger.

The Finger is a band out of Thessaloniki, Greece. The debut album is due out in September. For now, we have their debut single, “Die! Die Superhero!” to drool over.

From one pizza lover to another. This is for Lia.

Grilled Greek Pizza

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 tsp red pepper sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons fresh basil
3 green onions, sliced
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
48 ounces pizza dough (you can use purchased or the recipe I used here)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
4 ounces feta cheese, crumbled
about 15 Kalamata olives, cut in half or chopped

Directions:

1. Combine oil, salt, pepper sauce and garlic. Add basil, onions and tomatoes to mixture and toss. Cover and let stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes to blend flavors.

2. Preheat grill. Divide dough into thirds and roll each into 8 inch circles on a floured surface. (See the directions from this post on how to grill pizza). Carefully place crusts on hot grill and heat for about 1 to 2 minutes or until they begin to brown. Remove crusts from grill or move to indirectly heated portion of grill. Top with tomato mixture, cheeses and olives.

3. Carefully return to grill. Close lid and continue grilling for about 2 to 4 minutes or until bottom has browned and cheese is melted.
